Bra & Panty or Bodysuit

Choosing a well fitting bra & panty lingerie set or bodysuit is always a win!
Be sure you try it on and love how you feel while you’re wearing it.
Tip: If you’re pieces have visible tags, snip them out before arriving at your appointment.

Playful Cover-up

Oversized button up, cozy cardigan, silky robe & more

This classic look is a winner whether you pair it with your favorite jeans, cheeky bottoms, or nothing but your skin.

All in Black

Black on black for a little mystery

Another top favorite is all black lingerie, dress or fabrics. Dress it up with some black accessories and rhinestones.

Nothing at all

Just you in your own beautiful skin

Dressed down to just your skin with the option to add fabric draping for strategic modesty. “Nothing at all” pairs beautifully with our bodyscape lighting.

Self Care & Session Preparation

Take care of you before your session so you can feel relaxed and feel your best the day of your session!

Skin Care

Hydration the week before is so important for healthy, glowing skin - second to moisturizer!
Moisturize at home the day of your session to avoid being overly shiny.
Do not wear perfumes, scented lotions or body glitter.
Underarm deodorant should be clear/no color.

Nails

Clean nails on your hands and feet are an important detail!
Neutral and classic nail colors are recommended so they don’t steal the show in your portraits.

Hair

Schedule haircuts, color & root touch-ups at least 5 days prior to your session.
Style your hair at full volume with flowing curls (for longer hair)
OR schedule with a pro hair stylist a few hours before your appointment.

Makeup

Lips need moisture - bring a clear chap stick or lip gloss.
Avoid makeup with shimmer or glitter.
Apply eye/lip makeup slightly heavier than usual.
Brows are important! A little shape and tint goes a long way.
OR schedule with a professional makeup artist a few hours before your appointment.

Before Session Day

Try on your clothes and accessories in advance to ensure proper fit and performance.
Remove all tags from lingerie and sheer fabrics.
Gather all your clothes and accessories 1-2 days in advance to make session day easy!
Plan a 1hr music play list if you’d like to take over the Bluetooth speaker for your session.

On Session Day

Avoid lines on the skin - wear loose clothes like yoga pants or a flowy dress.
Wear a top/dress that allows you to remove without messing up hair and makeup.
Do not wear hair bands on wrists to avoid lines.
HYDRATE with lots of water for 24 hours before your session.
Breathe and relax. Nerves are normal. You’re in good hands :)

Studio Policies

Booking Deposits
Your booking deposit is non-refundable. It reserves your scheduled appointment for a Portrait Session and Ordering Appointment that take place on the same day. This deposit may be applied in full to orders placed at your Ordering Appointment and expires after this appointment time. See below for reschedule and cancellation policies.

Session Fees
Session fees may be collected in place of a booking deposit to reserve your scheduled appointment date. See below for reschedule and cancellation policies.

Reschedule & Cancellation Policy
We operate by appointment only. Each Portrait Session is booked weeks to months in advance and requires us to reserve our full studio and staff for 3+ hours for every appointment, along with additional non-studio hours for each session for the time and care needed to create beautiful artwork for our clients. In the event of a cancellation, we require a 10 day notice prior to your appointment if you would like a refund of the retainer or session fee. A 10% processing fee will apply. One complimentary reschedule is allowed with a 48 hour notice, to a new date that takes place within 3 weeks of the originally scheduled date. If you would like to reschedule to a date beyond 3wks, or request a reschedule within the 48hr notice window, a new $100 retainer will be required. Both paid deposits can be used as credit towards a purchase at your 2nd reserved appointment, but can not be refunded by cancellation.  A no-show forfeits all deposits and voids any Gift Certificates.

Ordering Appointment
Your private Ordering Appointment will take place immediately after your Portrait Session, at the same location, on the same day. You will view your session images, select your favorites, and place your order. Your order and payment is due at this time. All credit cards are accepted and financing options are available. Only ordered images are guaranteed for archiving, unordered images may be deleted.
