Giving Back: 2024 ADM Athletic Boosters Gala
Charitable giving is something I am grateful I get the chance to do. It’s especially sweet when it’s close to the heart AND close to home!
Adel has been home to me and the studio since 2020. I love that it’s also home to my sister and her family and kids. So, when I learned about this year’s Fundraising Gala for the ADM Athletic Boosters, I was more than happy to help— donating a Family Portrait Experience for the silent auction and accepting the invitation to photograph all the attendees, decked out in their black-tie attire. Yes! What a fun way to meet more locals and neighbors I’ve yet to meet and support my niece, nephew and local community. Thank you, again, for the invitation!
The gala was beautifully planned by so many amazing volunteers and hosted at the lovely Rewind Hotel in West Des Moines, Iowa. With live music, signature cocktails, exciting auction items and a delicious meal (including a steak the size of my face!)— we had a fabulous night out and are already looking forward to the next one. I have no doubt it was a successful night for the boosters!
